This 9-week research program includes:
- individual project with research mentor

- $4500 stipend

Research Areas Include:
- Elementary Particle Physics
- Gravity Theory
- Condensed Matter Physics
- Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics
- Soft Matter Physics
- Physics of Living Systems
- Astronomy
Who should apply:
- A US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Students enrolled in 2 year or 4 year college (and continuing as an undergraduate in Fall 2020)
- Students who have completed at least 1 year of Calculus based Introductory Physics
- Women and students from underrepresented groups and institutions encouraged to apply.
This Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program is a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded Summer Research Program for undergraduates. Students will work with faculty and graduate students on a variety of cutting-edge research projects in Physics and Astronomy. The program also aims to provide all- round professional development through weekly activities, and a strong cohort experience through shared housing and social activities.
